WELCOME TO BROTHERHOOD TOURS
I am a step-on guide and tour director who works with individuals, private groups and tour companies to conduct day trips and familiarization trips to Northumberland County, Prince Edward County and the City of Peterborough, Ontario. My excursions cover a variety of topics, from historical, cultural, faith, architectural and natural, including fall colours, lavender, lilacs, gardens and farms. (When leading my historical tours, I dress in my authentic 1850's labourer's costume or convict's costume when I conduct my Ghost Tour of Cobourg.)
I research, design and conduct tours which I then offer to a variety of TICO-licensed tour companies. Although I work independently, some of the coach companies for whom I create tours in the Toronto area are Great Canadian Holidays, Mary Morton Tours, Fun Tours, Short Trips and Time of Your Life Tours. I also conduct excursions for Kerr Travel from Port Perry, Stewart Travel from Peterborough and Franklin Tours from Belleville. I would be happy to help design unique itineraries for your small or large group. If you, your family or your group are interested in experiencing the delights of Central Ontario, Canada, from mid-April to mid-October, please contact me at:
This statue of Sir John A. Mcdonald is located outside the Armories on the Main St. of Picton. As a young man, Johnnie spent much of his formative teenage years in this town where he was known for playing practical jokes with his friends. One such joke caused a sensational trial that almost ended his career as a lawyer.
The Church Key Pub and Grindhouse is one of two breweries that I visit on my Micro-brewery Tour. Here we get to sample the special brews made on the premises and purchase the same. We also visit a local hop farm to see how this plant is used to flavour & stabilize beer & ale.
This koi pond and waterfall is found at the Meadow View Gardens where we view a variety of English gardens and enjoy an afternoon Devon Cream tea with scones. Other gardens within their 7 acres include a Victorian Kitchen Garden, a Courtyard Garden, a Rock Garden and a Cottage Garden.
On my new Cannabis Tour we will see the FSD Pharma Cannabis Factory in Cobourg and visit two cannabis outlets on the Alderville First Nation Reserve. Here we learn about Ojibway traditional healing and have time to purchase cannabis products.
